Who We Are

  • Christ the Servant Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
  • We are a community drawn from a variety of places and life stories. Brought together by God’s grace, we encourage one another as we strive to live out our callings to be disciples of Christ Jesus.
  • ​​The life of our Church is centered in our worship. As we share music and word, we experience the Living Christ – speaking to us through the scriptures, present before us in our neighbor, and witnessed to the world as we stand shoulder to shoulder at communion and as we live our faith through service in the world.

We Believe

  • We believe in God our creator, and are awed by the mystery of creation.
  • We believe we are saved by God's grace through our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.​
  • We believe the word and spirit of God are the guiding force in our lives.

We Pledge

  • To be a worshipping community. Worship is where we share our faith and seek a closer relationship with God.
  • To be a learning community. Although we are all at different places in our faith journey and in our relationship with God we believe the potential is there for all of us to be both teachers and learners as we share our beliefs, experiences and methods of taking action.
  • To be a serving community. Recognizing the overwhelming need to relieve suffering in our world and that service is one of the best ways of sharing the Gospel as well as strengthening our own faith, our founders named this congregation Christ the Servant--placing service at the heart of our mission.
  • To be a loving community. We are a deeply caring community. We support and nurture each other to develop our life in Christ.
  • To be a justice-seeking community. We actively involve ourselves in the missions of promoting justice, peacemaking, and healing by demonstrating God's love and desire for relief for those who suffer.

RIC Welcome Statement
Because we live in the grace and love of Christ Jesus, we are continually learning what it means to be inclusive of all: to love, to care for, to listen and understand, and to hold ourselves accountable.
​Following God’s call, we welcome, affirm, and advocate for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; peoples of all cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds; people of all ages and abilities; and people of all social and economic circumstances. We are committed to anti-racism and working toward racial equity.
